The Albuquerque Mountain Rescue Council Fundraiser

The Albuquerque Mountain Rescue Council is proud to answer the call when misfortune strikes. Every day, locals and visitors alike turn to the New Mexico wilderness for recreation and relaxation. Sometimes they are unprepared; sometimes they are simply unlucky. Whether injured, ill, or lost, AMRC is there to make sure all who roam in the Sandia mountains and beyond make it home. With the community’s generous support, AMRC provides their services free of charge.

Marble Brewery is proud to host the AMRC’s Annual Brew Fest-Fundraiser at our Downtown Pub. We donate a percentage of our sales for the day, and, in 2012, the Albuquerque Mountain Rescue Council raised approximately half of what is needed to meet their yearly basic
operations costs. The event is family friendly, and there are bands and activities all day, as well as a silent auction and a raffle. Go to www.abqmountainrescue.org for more information or Facebook for regular updates from the team – www.facebook.com/Albuquerque Mountain Rescue Council

The Downtown Growers Market Fundraiser

The Downtown Growers Market can be enjoyed from May-November in Robinson Park on 8th & Central, featuring over 85 merchants selling local produce, arts and crafts, natural skin care products, delicious prepared food, and much more! Since 1996, the Growers Market has built community by increasing the local food supply and production, expanding and enhancing the economic strength and viability of small businesses in Albuquerque, contributing to the health and wealth of city residents, and providing a routine place for public gathering. Join the Market community on Saturday mornings for live music and a true taste of New Mexico.

The Hops & Harvest Fest at Marble Brewery features three live bands, a Market growers stand, a raffle of amazing prizes, and strong community spirit. For every beer that is sold during the event, Marble generously donates $1 to the Growers Market, which helps the Market with program development, operational costs, and outreach. Check out DowntownGrowers.com for more current info.
